Insecurities are like ninjas
They love a good sneak attack
One moment you’re feeling pretty
And the next, your armpits look fat

Insecurities are like viruses
They enjoy a delightful spread
What begins as one minor flaw
Grows to feel like pores of dread

Woe is my reflection that paid the price
As she slowly turns to me for advice
I look to her and offer up a smile
This is how you bewitch and beguile
Simply avoid looking to compare
Life’s always easier when playing solitaire
